1,007 Royalty-Free Audio Tracks for "Weapon Sound"

This is from a recording session trying to create laser weapon sounds. I just used the same technique as ben burtt used in wall-e (with the slinky and the contact mic). This is unprocessed, no eqs, compression, reverb or anything was added. I used a long piece of curled up aluminum wire which i hung from a tall structure at my house and the main object i used to oscillate the wire was a drum stick. For the recording i used the blue icicle and recorded into reaper. The contact mic is my own creation from a diy i found online (roughly €5 to make). I sat up my two cm3-microphones at my porch for recording nature-sounds during 3 hours. Then i went into the house for doing other things. When i was finished i listen thru the recording, than i realised there was a couple gunshot at the recording. I'll publishing the best shot. Another of the recordings i did on my phone at work of a steel cable at tension between phone poles. Hitting it with a wrench and making laser sounds. Cleaned up in audacity as the other one was. One is better than the other but can't remember which one i liked the best. Use as you please. If you use it for something and have the time to tell me where it ended up, that's cool. Either way, enjoy.

File i recorded while at work on a telephone pole. I found a span of the steel cable they string between the poles that hold phone lines or cable lines. But this was just the bare span and nothing touching it. If you hit them with a wrench they make weird laser gun sounds. Recorded with my phone and cleaned up a bit in audacity. Use as you please. An old project (2017, 4 years ago) i never uploaded anywhere before. I hope that others will take inspiration from this. This is practically a sequel to "muffled warfare" that i never released, and have titled it so. Inspired by this war of mine. A collection of sounds muffled and mixed together to create a warfare soundscape heard from within a church. A lone individual sifts through the scraps of war, and checks the worldwide news from his radio. The war marches on around them, however, and he must move on.

I decided to experiment with a metal slinky, with the intention of creating some science-fiction sounds. Here is a string out of what could potentially be used as "laser gun shots". There are a variety of individual shots, and at the latter-half of the clip i attempted to create a cross-fire gun fight. Some editing, including noise reduction may improve what i've done here. *recorded on may 09, 2021 using a sennheiser shotgun mic and a zoom h4n pro (and a shower, of course).
